Queer Anticipation: Sunil Gupta, Prem Sahib, and Jake Grewal in Conversation with Dr. Natasha Bissonauth

Three London-based artists and an art historian gather across timezones, artistic processes, and generations in an attempt to see otherwise through queer South Asian diasporic aesthetics. This conversation is in conjunction with the group show ‘On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous’ at Jhaveri Contemporary – titled after Ocean Vuong’s much acclaimed novel – which had to unfortunately shut down early given COVID19’s devastating second wave in India.
