SOUTH SOUTH’s first physical event celebrates its community and the news of its inaugural curatorial residency.

The 6th edition of the Marrakech Biennale intended to build on a longstanding history of Pan Afro-Arab unity, through critically investigating socio-political projects, cultural partnerships, and art movements that have led to many shared artistic tendencies.

The Foundation emerged from collectors Lekha Poddar and her son Anupam Poddar expanding their personal interests in art to facilitating wider public engagement with artistic practice and curatorial interventions.
